The 12th Man!

What a game!  Christopher was rewarded for all the hard work he's been putting into our transition to Bozeman, MT.  With the oversight of our church youth pastor, Raul Figueroa, he spray painted our house.  He's also helped with painting the trim, been "Mr. Fix It" on several small items and much, much more.  68,121 strong (New Quest Field Record!) left it all on the field as the Seattle Seahawks spanked the New York Giants 42-30.  It was 42-3 in the 3rd.

MoRed or RedMo?

Never in the history of NCAA men's basketball have the top two scorers in the country been on teams ranked in the top 5.  Howz dat for a March Madness teaser?  Had to pick up a copy of this week's SI to read some national press about my favorite basketball team.  I was caught off guard.  Apparently when Mark Few requested that his players attend church Adam wrote, "Religion is the opiate of the masses" on the locker room whiteboard.  LOL.  That's OK.  I'm believing that God's goodness over the next month will lead my boy with the Fisher-Price My First Mustache to repentance.  Click on this scan of SI's Morrison-Reddick breakdown:

Boardercross Gold

So...what does USA's Snowboard Cross (a.k.a. "Boardercross") gold-medal-winner do for fun?  Nope.  He doesn't "go to Disneyworld."  In his off-time Farmington, Maine native Seth Wescott (right) hops on helicopters and elevates high into the Alaskan mountains.  Once he finds a summit that satisfies his appetite for danger, a spot unmarked, like a desolate grave, he makes his descent.  Watch the avalanche video.  It rocks!

The Cure

Super Bowl disappointment still hovering like a dull headache?  Looking for a quick fix?  Look no further than Gonzaga Bulldog Adam Morrison, perhaps the wildest and most dangerous thing to put on a jersey in the history of Washington state college basketball.

To me nothing is more exciting than watching one of God's image bearers functioning at their highest capacity.  The infectious confidence that says, "Nothing is impossible."  Combine this with the perennial madness that is the NCAA tournament and fellow Washingtonians, you have something very special to look forward to.
