Between Grace and Karma
: Part of me wants to throw caution to the wind believing that Bono is God's man and Africa's champion. The other part wants to write him off. I can't stand showmen. Perhaps they are so disdainful to me because I...

Fuller on Culture
The Newsboys are in high stride. The bands U2ish longevity combined with Fuller's (right) pastoral heart make this a band worthy of the genre "Christian." Just got back from CWF in Wenatchee, WA with the Newsboys, Rebecca St. James and...

Ha ha, nice!
Some might take this as an ADMONITION or 'attack', but we haven't had T.V. (cable or otherwise that is) almost since the day we've been married; 'bout 14 years now then.
Funny thing is, I don't feel disjointed or disconnected from the rest of society, and tend to be more informed and associated with current events than the majority of my acquaintances and friends.
So, my kids have now grown up under this environment and they seem to be doing okay to. Yet most people, you walk in their house and they have to have the T.V. or radio, or something else blaring, EVEN IF NO ONE IS WATCHING, :)! Same with their car too! :)
Well, not meant to be condemning, but it's just my observation.

MARC! Hey bud!
We get cable free with our internet service from Northland. I surfed some channels last night for 5 minutes. Turned it off. Little interests me on TV anymore.
When you make comments, put the URL of your blog down so people can link to it by clicking "Marcguyver". I like your site and want people to find it from mine. I'll put a link on my sidebar.
